These Terms and Conditions form a binding agreement between Mypartener LTD and every person who registers for, accesses or uses the website, mobile application or related matrimonial services. Please read them before creating an account or purchasing a membership.

1 About Mypartener

Mypartener LTD is a company incorporated in Mauritius that operates an online matrimonial introduction platform. The platform enables eligible adults to create profiles, search for potential life partners and communicate using the features included in their selected membership.

Mypartener provides a platform and related support services. It is not a marriage broker acting as an agent for either member, does not select a spouse on a member’s behalf, and does not guarantee a match, engagement or marriage.

2 Acceptance and electronic contracting

By selecting the acceptance checkbox, registering an account, purchasing a membership or using the service, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms, the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Cancellation Policy. Electronic records and electronic acceptance may be retained as evidence of the transaction.

If you do not agree, you must not create an account, purchase a membership or use the service. A person acting for another individual must have that individual’s express authority and must identify the relationship accurately.

3 Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract and a lawful marriage under the law applicable to you.
  • You must use the service genuinely to seek a lawful matrimonial relationship and not for casual dating, commercial solicitation, trafficking, exploitation or any unlawful purpose.
  • You must not be prohibited from marrying by a court order or applicable law and must accurately disclose your current marital status.
  • Only one active personal profile is permitted for each individual unless Mypartener gives written approval.
  • Mypartener may refuse, restrict or terminate access where eligibility cannot be established.

4 Registration and account security

You must provide complete, current and accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for activity carried out through your account. Notify Mypartener promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

Registration information may include your name, date of birth, contact details, gender, marital status, location, education, occupation, religion or community preferences, photographs and other information relevant to matrimonial matching. The collection and use of personal data are governed by the Privacy Policy and applicable Mauritian data-protection law.

5 Identity and profile verification

Mypartener may verify a mobile number, email address, government-issued identity document, profile photograph, selfie or live video. It may request additional evidence where information is inconsistent, a complaint is received or fraud is suspected.

A verification badge means only that specified checks were completed using the information available at that time. It is not a guarantee of a member’s character, intentions, financial position, education, employment, health, marital history or suitability. Members must carry out their own reasonable checks before relying on another profile or meeting another person.

6 Memberships, prices and payment

Current membership prices, durations and included features are displayed on the membership page before payment. As at the date of this policy, the plans displayed by Mypartener are:

Prices and plan features may change prospectively. The price and features shown at checkout when you authorise payment govern that purchase. Any promotional offer is subject to its displayed terms and availability.

Payments are one-time transactions. Memberships do not renew automatically. Mypartener will not charge your payment method again unless you actively select a new plan and authorise a new payment. Access begins after payment is successfully confirmed and the membership is activated.

7 Acceptable use

  • Use the service only for personal matrimonial purposes.
  • Do not impersonate another person or provide false, misleading, outdated or unauthorised information or photographs.
  • Do not request or send money, banking credentials, passwords or other financial information through the platform.
  • Do not harass, threaten, discriminate against, exploit, stalk or abuse another member.
  • Do not publish obscene, defamatory, hateful, infringing, illegal or deceptive content.
  • Do not scrape, copy, sell or commercially exploit profiles, photographs or contact information.
  • Do not use bots, bulk messaging, malware or any method that interferes with the platform or circumvents security or privacy controls.
  • Do not use another member’s information outside the genuine matrimonial purpose for which it was made available.

8 Member content and permissions

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Mypartener a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence, for the duration reasonably necessary to operate your account and the service, to host, store, reproduce, format, display and transmit that content within the platform and for account administration, safety, moderation and support. This licence ends when the content is deleted, subject to backups, legal retention duties and evidence preservation.

You confirm that you have the right to submit the content and that it does not violate another person’s privacy, confidentiality, intellectual-property or other legal rights. Mypartener may remove content that breaches these Terms or applicable law.

9 Safety and interactions with members

Members communicate and meet at their own discretion. Before meeting or making a commitment, verify relevant information independently, meet initially in a safe public place, tell a trusted person about the meeting and do not send money. Report suspected fraud, coercion, impersonation or abuse promptly to Mypartener and, where appropriate, to the Police or other competent authority.

Mypartener may moderate profiles and investigate reports but cannot continuously monitor all communications or independently confirm every statement made by a member.

10 Suspension and termination by Mypartener

Mypartener may restrict, suspend or terminate an account, remove content or withhold a verification badge where reasonably necessary to protect users or the platform, investigate a complaint, comply with law, respond to a payment reversal, or address a breach of these Terms. Where appropriate and lawful, Mypartener will notify the member and provide a reasonable opportunity to respond.

No refund is due where access is terminated for fraud, material misrepresentation, unlawful conduct or a serious breach, except where mandatory law requires otherwise. This does not limit the member’s statutory rights.

11 Cancellation, expiry and refunds

Memberships expire automatically at the end of the purchased period. There is no automatic renewal. You may request account closure at any time. Closing an account does not by itself create a right to a refund. Refund eligibility is governed by the Refund Policy and cancellation procedures are governed by the Cancellation Policy, without limiting rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12 Service availability and changes

Mypartener aims to provide a reliable service but does not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, security events, third-party failures and circumstances beyond reasonable control may affect access. Material changes to a paid service will be communicated where reasonably practicable, and any remedy will be assessed under applicable law and the Refund Policy.

13 Intellectual property

The Mypartener name, logo, software, interface, design, databases and original website content are owned by or licensed to Mypartener LTD. Except for normal personal use of the service, no licence is granted to reproduce, modify, distribute, reverse engineer or commercially exploit them.

14 Disclaimers and liability

Mypartener does not warrant that a member will receive responses, find a compatible person or marry. Profile and member-supplied information may be incomplete or inaccurate despite reasonable moderation and verification measures.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability arising from fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful misconduct or any mandatory consumer right. Subject to that qualification, Mypartener is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed, or for acts and omissions of members outside Mypartener’s reasonable control.

15 Personal data and communications

Personal data is processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2017, applicable regulations and the Mypartener Privacy Policy. Service communications necessary for registration, security, payment, membership administration and support may be sent using the contact details provided. Marketing communications will be handled in accordance with applicable consent and opt-out requirements.

16 Complaints and disputes

Contact info@mypartener.com with your registered name, profile or account identifier, transaction reference and a clear description of the issue. Mypartener will acknowledge and investigate complaints within a reasonable period. The parties should first attempt to resolve the matter in good faith. Consumers may also seek assistance from the competent Mauritian consumer-protection authority or pursue any remedy available by law.

17 Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Mauritius. The courts of Mauritius have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer right to bring proceedings before another competent court.

18 Changes to these Terms

Mypartener may update these Terms for legal, security, operational or service reasons. The updated date will be displayed. Changes affecting an existing paid membership will not be applied retroactively to reduce the core benefits already purchased, unless required by law or necessary to protect users or platform security.

19 Severability and entire agreement

If a provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. These Terms, together with the policies expressly incorporated into them and the plan information accepted at checkout, form the agreement governing the service.
